Connect has beaten national
competition to deliver learndirect
training across Merseyside.
The win means that Connect will
continue to provide a broad range of
over 500 government funded learndirect
courses at its Connect Learning
Centres, located across Greater
Merseyside.
Connect has also been chosen to
develop and manage the Merseyside
Virtual Learning Centre, a portal
which provides information on the
available courses and extends access
to the elearning opportunities on
offer.
The tender win follows Connect’s
outstanding performance in delivering
the learndirect programme last year,
during which over 10,000 learndirect
courses were delivered to over 3,500
learners.
Peter Labone, Connect Learndirect
Project Manager, comments, “Connect is
well respected for the excellent
support our dedicated staff give to
learners. In fact, a recent customer
satisfaction survey reported that in
excess of 90% of respondees were very
satisfied with the service they
received from us.”
Bill Healey, a learndirect customer,

learndirect courses cover a wide range
of subjects including Maths, English,
Business, Management, IT skills and
Languages, many of which lead to
qualifications.
